Best Ways to deal with Betrayal- from anyone

  At one point or another, we have been let down, cheated, deceived and/or many other horrid things by one person or another. Sometimes we expected it, sometimes, we didn't. It may be someone who didn't surprise us or a totally new player in the game- one that can crush our spirit with their change of heart.  The deed has been done. It is up to us how to respond. Are we petty? Or do we act mature, and move on? Here are some ways to move on from the pain of betrayal faster and move on with life. 1) Talk to the offending party or parties. The situation may not be what you think, or they may have an explanation that makes sense to you. Either ways, it's just best to have it out there and everyone is clear where they stand. It can be painful, but it is essential for moving on.  2) DO NOT AND I MEAN DO NOT RETALIATE! It is difficult, it can be very tempting but please don't.
